about the creator

I'm Rachael, a WooCommerce designer and developer.

As a self-taught developer, the main reason I was drawn to WooCommerce years ago was for the ability to customize practically anything. The freedom and the personalization was a total no-brainer for the DIY-er in me. But let's face it, understanding WooCommerce out of the box can be overwhelming at times. With every new website project, I'd spend hours trying to match up template files to website mockups. I'd be lying if I said I didn't wrack my brain over and over again trying to achieve certain customizations, but now YOU don't have to. I've created this step-by-step guide from an accumulation of everything I've spent weeks and months and years learning so designers and developers like yourself can spend more time doing what WooCommerce is meant for...making money online!
